Homeline breakers are cheaper, and QO breakers cost $10 but come with extra features such as Vis-Trip Indicator. Homeline breakers only cost $5 and are the perfect option if you don’t need to handle large electrical loads. Both Homeline and QO breakers are efficient and reliable, but it can be difficult to choose between them.
You can use QO breakers with CSED devices, QO load centers, and NQOD panel boards, and they are highly compatible. The main appeal of QO breakers is that they are rated for 240 volts and can handle heavy appliances. However, the wide variety of options means that you can find single-pole QO breakers if you only need them for electrical outlets.
Similar in many ways to the Square D Homeline, the Qo offers breaker protection to your electrical system. The biggest difference between the two is that the Qo comes in options up to 3-pole in space and can be used for commercial applications. Moreover, there is a visi-trip indicator that indicates which breaker has been tripped.
An Overview of the Square D Homeline The Homeline is a single-pole breaker meant for residential use. These breakers are meant to be 1 inch per pole space within your central breaker. The Homeline does come in 2-pole breaker options.
