Es hat die Konsistenz von Modellierton und wird ebenso verarbeitet. Durch das Brennen der Masse verdampfen Binder und Wasser: Zurück bleibt 99,9% reines Silber, d.h. Feinsilber
Feinsilber oxidiert nur geringfügig und eignet sich daher besonders für Schmuck und andere Ziergegenstände. Schmucksteine (z.B. Zirkonia), Glaselemente und Teile aus Feinsilber werden direkt miteingearbeitet. Es wird mit einfachen Werkzeugen und Hilfsmitteln gearbeitet, so dass sich die Anschaffung teurer Juwelierwerkzeuge erübrigt
Art Clay Silver consists of fine (1-20 micron) silver particles, combined with water and binder. It has the consistency of modelling clay and can also be worked similarly
During the firing the binder and water burn off leaving 99.9% pure silver, i.e. fine silver
Fine silver tarnishes very slowly and is therefore ideally suited for jewellery and other decorative objects. Stones, especially Cubic Zirconia or glass components and, of course, other fine silver components can be worked directly into the clay. The clay can be worked with simple tools, thus eliminating the requirement for expensive jewellery maker’s equipment
Art Clay Silver est composé de très fines particules d’argent (1-20 microns), liées avec de l’eau et un liant . Sa consistance est pareil à l’argile à modeler et se façonne de la même manière. Par la cuisson de la masse le liant et l’eau s’évaporent. Il en reste 99,9 % d’argent pur, soit de l’argent fin. L’argent fin s’oxyde peu et se prête particulièrement bien à la confection de bijoux et d’autres objets décoratifs. Pierres précieuses comme zirconia, éléments de verre et pièces en argent fin sont directement travaillés ensemble
Le travail peut être effectué avec un outillage et des accessoires simples, sans besoin d’acquérir un équipement de joaillerie onéreux
