This how-to-guide will show you how to create a fillable PDF form

Fillable forms allow users to fill in and edit information on the computer in order to
print or submit the forms electronically

1. Open the PDF document in Adobe Acrobat Professional/Standard/DC

2. Navigate to Forms from View > Tools > Forms and click on it

3. Then make sure that the radio button of From Existing Document is selected and click Next

4. Select the radio button of Current Document and click on Continue
5. In order for Acrobat to automatically detect the fillable form fields, click OK and then you will see
the detected fields. Here the detected fields are highlighted as depicted by the arrows

6. If Acrobat missed any field or you like to create a new fillable field, you can drag the tools shown it
the top and place it on the form and you also can name the fields as shown below

7. Then save the document by selecting File> Save As

Reader cannot do this
