SALE RULES & GUIDELINES
1. Consignors must be members of the Heart of Missouri Limousin Breeders Association prior to sale

2. All cattle must be registered with the North American Limousin Foundation and tattooed in accordance with NALF rules

3. Only Fullblood, Purebred, Percentage & Lim-Flex bulls will be accepted

All bulls must meet the following requirements:
* Maximum birth weight of 95 pounds

* Minimum weaning weight of 600 pounds

* Minimum yearling weight of 1,200 pounds

* Minimum yearling scrotal circumference of 32 cm

* Disposition score of 1 or 2

* All bulls must be semen tested

* All bulls 12 months of age and older must be trichomoniasis tested

* Any bull arriving at the sale and not meeting this criteria will not be allowed to sell and will forfeit their entry fee

4. Only Fullblood, Purebred, Percentage & Lim-Flex females will be eligible to sell

All females must meet the following requirements:
* All females 24 months of age and older must be safe in calf or have a calf at side

* Bred females must be vet checked with approximate calving dates

* Sale committee has the discretion to eliminate cows/heifers with bad udders, structure problems and disposition problems

5. Calves born between February 1, 2021, and the sale date must have registration application if not yet registered

Documentation of birth weights, polled status, tattoos, and all other information must be submitted at time of entry

6. Pregnant recipients/planned matings, flushes, and frozen embryos are eligible to sell

7. All horned cattle must be dehorned

8. NALF performance records must be completed and up to date

9. Consignors must provide breeding status (breeding dates, AI dates, pasture exposure dates, service sires w/their registration numbers). For calves not registered at side of
cow, consignor must include color, horned/polled status, sex, tattoos, birth dates, birth weights and sire

10. Entry fees on all cattle will be forfeited if animals do not meet the outlined guidelines. All cattle that go through the ring and do not sell will be charged full sale expense and
the entry fee. Cattle that are not at the sale and/or are not substituted for will be assessed a 15% sale expense and the entry fee will be forfeited

11. Consignors are responsible for their registration transfers on sold cattle once sale settlement has been disbursed and received

12. Sale Managment will make every effort to settle sale within 60 days

13. Consignors must bring health papers to all animals selling with them to the sale
