I completely understand that these technical repairs may take months to resolve. That is not a problem. What concerns me is the complete absence of customer service.

JDL. This is a liability issue. Manufacturers do not want defective parts recycled back into use. The person on the phone should have never told you you could keep it, however it was a mistake and you were called back to correct this. Beretta offered great customer service by replacing the slide in a timely manor.
